The LEVIFLOW® LFSC-iX.1 clamp-on sensor is designed for high-precision, non-invasive flow measurements in bioprocessing. The single-use flow pipe enables high accuracy clamp-on flow measurement where conventional tubing fails.
Three pairs of piezoelectric transducers generate and receive ultrasonic waves. When flow is present, the with-stream waves are accelerated, and the against-stream wave are slowed down. The difference in transit time of each pair is proportional to the velocity of the fluid. The LFSC-iX.1 series with its integrated electronics comprises a very small footprint and allows for easy installation.
